About this condition

Urge incontinence is a sudden, intense need to urinate followed by involuntary leakage of urine, often requiring rushing to the bathroom. It occurs when the bladder muscle contracts unexpectedly, and can be triggered by certain sounds, cold weather, or drinking fluids.
