About this condition

This is a narrowing of the surgically created urinary stoma or opening after bladder reconstruction surgery. The narrowing blocks the normal flow of urine from the internal pouch to outside the body. Patients experience difficulty urinating or inability to pass urine, which requires urgent medical attention to prevent kidney damage.
