About this condition
Fusion of labia, also called labial adhesion, is a condition where the inner lips of the female genitals stick together, most commonly seen in infant girls and toddlers. It can cause difficulty with urination or urinary infections if the opening becomes very narrow. Treatment is usually simple with topical creams prescribed by a doctor, and the condition often resolves naturally as the child grows.
